Course structure

As part of this programme, learners complete the Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) level 3 Healthcare Support (Clinical) at SCQF level 7.

The workshop will be delivered as in person training at NHS Golden Jubilee in the NHS Scotland Academy Hub.

This will include a range of simulation training and focused discussion.

After this period, the programme will focus on expansion of wider skills and critical engagement. This will be delivered through one Applied Learning (ApLE) day each month.

This programme will also feature an Interprofessional Learning Programme (IPL), which is supported through online learning and resources, including key the topics such as anatomy and physiology, law and ethics, and infection control.

Learners will have 12 months to complete the required SVQ units which are supported through their online portfolio.
