The NHS Scotland Academy is a partnership between NHS Golden Jubilee and NHS Education for Scotland to offer accelerated training for a wide range of health and social care roles and professions. Working with NHS Boards, schools, colleges, universities and industry partners, the NHS Scotland Academy provides education and training that will address workforce needs identified through key partners to support the sustainable growth in NHSScotland’s clinical and non-clinical activity.

Focused initially on supporting the immediate workforce priority needs of NHS Scotland, NHS Scotland Academy plays a key role in the implementation and success of NHS Scotland’s Recovery Plan.
Drawing on the strengths of both parent organisations, NHS Scotland Academy uses state-of-the-art clinical and simulation facilities at NHS Golden Jubilee and the educational expertise and technology-enabled learning offered by NHS Education for Scotland. This partnership provides learners the training and facilities to improve their skills in specific areas through residential, distance and virtual learning.
